Fractions

frac

Fractions takes numbers on either side of a slash and redraws them as a proper fraction: a small numerator, a diagonal bar and a small denominator. It works for any numbers, not only the few fractions that come ready made.

Where to find it

  1. Character panel

How to use it

  1. Type the fraction with a regular slash, like 3/4.
  2. Select only the fraction.
  3. Switch on Fractions.

Good to know

  • Do not apply it to a whole paragraph: dates like 9/30 turn into fractions too.
  • For recipes or tables full of fractions, a character style with Fractions on saves time.
