Ordinals
Ordinals turn the letters after a number into small raised forms, drawn to match the font, as in 1º, 2ª or 3rd. They also give you the numero sign, Nº. Typing them by hand with superscript gives thin, shrunken letters instead.
Where to find it

- Ordinals
Open the OpenType panel ⌥ ⇧ ⌘ T Mac Alt Shift Ctrl T Windows
How to use it
- Type the number followed by its letters, like 1o or 2a.
- Select just the letters, or the whole number.
- Switch on Ordinals.
Good to know
- Apply it only where you need it: on a whole paragraph it can raise letters that should not move.
